Memorial Bread

This is how to make unleaven bread for the memorial. For a video on how to make it please visit here

Ingredients & Instructions

  • One cup (140 grams) of wheat flour
    • Can substitute with corn, rice, barley, or a similar grain.
  • Add 1/3 cup (80ml) of water
  • Mix until dough no longer clings to sides of bowl
  • Gently knead dough on a nonstick surface for about 5 minutes
  • Separate into two pieces
  • Roll the dough until it is about 1/8 inch (3mm) thick
  • Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet
  • Perforate dough with a fork
  • Place in an oven preheated to 450° Fahrenheit (230° Celsius)
  • Bake for approximately 8 minutes
  • Remove from oven to cool
  • Break into pieces and place on serving plates
